Our friends at Timberland recently launched their new Greenstride collection featuring shoes crafted from sugarcane, exactly! Sugarcane.
So they hit us up to create a campaign for 6 different countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, & Korea) and the result is a 3 part web digital comic experience which brings you on a journey to save the world by using the power of nature (sugarcane) with your greenstride shoes.
So what did we do?
parallax effects for that 3D depth of field, animation, and interactive scenes that takes the experience to another level. Users can also become the characters with the a built-in Photo Booth that morphs your face onto the comic characters.
All you need to do is scan a QR code or click a link and BOOM! You are thrown into the experience.
One of the main objective is driving footfall to their stores. We did this by having the 3rd comic only unlockable instore by scanning the in-store QR code. Users can also use the built in geolocation feature built-into the experience users can get directions to the nearest Timberland store directly on the web-app.
